Thanks for coming to our first meeting of the year!
We would like to remind you that kayaking will be this Upcoming Saturday, Sept. 17th! We will be meeting that the Marino Center at 1PM. We will only wait there until 1:15PM. Be there or be square! Please remember to bring at least $10 if you are planning to share a boat. If you want an individual boat the cost may be more than $20. Here's the website of the place we're going. If you haven't signed up and want to go, let us know!
ASU will also be Volunteering @ Hub on Wheels on Sunday, Sept 25th. The time is currently tentative. Many of you seemed unclear on what the event is. Here is a link to the event's website. In short, it is a fundraiser to "create an important civic event, showcase Boston's neighborhoods and parks, and raise money for important causes." We'd we aiding the bikers who are fundraising by passing out food, cheering them on, etc. If you sign up by Saturday 9PM, we'll update you on exactly what time volunteering will be, and you can back out if it doesn't work for you.
