I hope you all had a good break. The semester's starting to wrap up and the last day of classes are next week. This week is the last week of ASU activities. We still have our Holiday Potluck this Wednesday. Come see the other members, eat food, play games, and just hang out! We're also having ASU and VSA's annual "A Night in Asia" event, where there will be performances, food, prizes, and games!
ASU's Holiday Potluck this Wednesday
The holidays are coming soon, so for ASU's last meeting of the semester, we are having a Holiday Potluck! It'll be November 28, 2012 at 6PM in Curry 440! It'll be potluck style, so please bring something! The more people who bring something, the more food there is to share! We will also be announcing the Freshman/Upperclassman Representatives for the Spring Semester!
PAAC Open Meeting this Tuesday
Not exactly sure what PAAC is or what we do? Interested in learning more about PAAC? Then, come to the Open House Meeting to find out! :) The Pan Asian American Council invites you to our first town-hall style this Tuesday at 6:30PM at Curry 322!
A Night in Asia this Saturday
“A Night in Asia” is an Asian culture-themed festival filled with games, food, and performances! Our mission is to provide an engaging, interactive way for the community to learn more about aspects of the cultures represented here at Northeastern University. It's going to be on December 1, 2012 at the Curry Indoor Quad at 6PM. There is going to be alot of prizes, food, games, and performances! Come out, it'll be fun and plus, you may even see to get your President do a Lion Dance!
If you want to volunteer with setting up decorations, serving food, wearing a Domo costume, or manning the ASU or Raffle booth, email nuasu.eboard@gmail.com
See you all in the Spring!
On behalf of ASU eboard, we have hoped you guys enjoyed ASU this semester! We've had Field Days, lit up the night, met Jason Chen, participated in Service Day, ate Dim Sum, decorated huskies, discussed Asian community divides with Bubble Tea, learned more about our identity, and kayaked together. We hope you've not only had fun, but have also learned a bit more about yourselves or the Asian American community. Next year will be even better with the new Freshman and Upperclasssman Reps joining eboard next semester! If you have any suggestions or anything, tell us at nuasu.eboard@gmail.com . We're open to all your ideas!
